Local Rules

Not just a game. An experience.

In addition to the R & A rules, the following locally adopted rules shall apply.
1. Relief Areas

In addition to the relief as provided under R & A rule 16. The following circumstances will be entitled to a relief:

  • Any part on the course marked GUR.
  • Any cast hole or cast on the course made by animals (Including Termites and animals)
  • Young trees marked by stakes or young trees that are shoulder high.
  • Course water installations, benches, flower beds, foundation raising the tee boxes, distance markers are immovable obstructions.
  • Edge grooves around the aprons or fringes of putting green – Relief is one putter head
  • All roads and pathways are an integral part of the course except the road crossing on hole number 1/10 and the pathway crossing Tee No. 1 and 10 to the club House.
  • Golf ball in wrong greens rule 13.1F
  • The trench running across from hole number 8/17 and 2/11
  • Curvet are immovable obstructions and are entitled to a relief except when in the penalty areas.
  • All flower beds on the tee boxes.
2. Out of Bounds

The following areas have been identified as OB

  • Left of Hole no 1/10 up to the range area
  • Left of Hole no 2/11 on range area.
  • Parking area opposite hole number 1/10 and 9/18.
  • Left of hole number 5/14 up to the tee box of number 4/13.
  • All areas marked by black stakes on the course
  • Beyond any wall fence surrounding the course or line marked with black stakes
3. Penalty Areas

his will either be marked with yellow or red stakes. Rule 17 R & A

4. Practice

The practice of chipping or putting on any green which is to be played during 2nd nine is prohibited. This prohibition applies to green no 1,2,4,6 and 8th green.

5. Suspension of Play

  • One prolonged note of siren - Discontinue immediately.
  • Three consecutive notes of siren - Suspend play.
  • Two shot notes of siren repeated - Resume play
6. Penalty for Breach of Local Rules

In a match play, it will result in loss of the hole but in stroke play, it will be two strokes penalty.
